locations around the old city  York is famous for its ghost walks. It was the first city in the country to set up this macabre form of entertainment and,
having claimed the title of 'Most Haunted City in Europe,' it certainly has the phantoms to support the trade. Available
all year round, though especially popular in the Summer, these guided evening tours take in many and varied of the haunted
places of the city where there is an epidemic of apparently true ghostly and ghoulish tales.

The White Horse has monthly karaoke and disco nights. All welcome, no admission charge just
good laughs, some good singing (not all) and good beer.

of York so is perfect for shopping trips.
Martial Arts York is a hot bed for martial arts at the
moment, courses can be arranged with the Oriental Sports Association, which provides evidence based learning programmes which
